Great little truck!

Review

I've had this truck for the last 9 years and it is the most reliable and maintenance free vehicle that I've ever owned. The only feature that I can truly complain about is the hard to get at release for the spare tire. Additionally, the gas mileage is OK at about 20/22 MPG.

Nissan Hardbody

Review

The Nissan (1993) Hardbody ext. cab which I actually purchased in June of 1992 is got to be the most long lasting and reliable small trucks ever built. To this date (Nov.03)their has not been a wrench pointed at this truck in other than scheduled Maintinece! Did I mention the miliage? 200,000 miles!!! Enough Said.

Favorite Features

Long lasting materials inside and out.

Suggested Improvements

Carry all the quality to the next line of full size trucks (Titan) and put a 10 year warranty with it. It would out sell and out last all competitors.

Review

I bought my truck about a week ago. I used to have a 1989 and i loved it. I put more than 300,000 mile on that truck.(with no major overhaules) I can't wait to put that many on my new truck

Review

Bought my pick-up used in 1996. I have since then racked-up 180,000 miles on the odometer! The ONLY thing I have ever had to replace was an ignition relay (twice), and that only cost $15 each time. My truck is a five speed, and I have never had to replace the clutch! Nobody believes me, but the original clutch is still in it! The engine still runs strong, does not leak, and does not smoke. With regular maintenance (like I've always performed) I wonder just how long it will last?! Great job Nissan! This is quality construction!

Review

This truck has been so reliable that I am hesitating to sell it at ten years old (I am second owner) and after reading the reviews of 2000 Chevy Silverado that I am considering trading for! It may very well out live it! However, I am looking for more towing power, a bigger bed, and just a newer vehicle (north country has been rough on the body with salt). This truck has ALWAYS started, even at thirty below, NEVER gotten stuck (with studded snows), and carried as much load of lumber, firewood, tools, and dirt that I could ever fill it with.

Good looks and rugged.

Suggested Improvements

Better acceleration, more interior room, seat belt function, speakers, and an interior light that came on when passeger door opens.

Review

I have a Nissan 4x4 truck and I love it. If you have the choice of trucks to purchase, than go for a Nissan. That name means reliability to me. Thanks Nissan for making such a perfect truck for people like me.

Favorite Features

4x4, sliding rear window, extended cab seating, and the greatest touch of all was the little pop up hooks that are on the bed of the truck. If you know anything about Nissans, than you know what I am talking about.

Suggested Improvements

The only improvments that I would make is a higher lift, of 3 inches or so, and hmm...nothing else:)

I bought my 2 wheel drive sb in 1993 and have had no breakdowns. I have 79000 miles but am going to sell because I need a 4 wheel drive in the snow.

Dependable and always started even in 30 below weather!

Dependable Nissan Truck

Only problem I have had with this Truck is the Clutch interlock relay has gone out 3 times once was under warranty. twice I had to buy it for $15 not bad.

Very Reliable

Review

Original owner of truck with 180,000 miles on it. Replaced water pump, starter and radiator well after 100,000 miles. Fuel economy, 22/24, has stayed the same from the day I bought it. Still runs like new, great truck.

Engine has good performance and gas milage for a pickup.

Suggested Improvements

Glove box rest on cheap thin plastic hinges which broke after a couple of years.
