1995 Jeep Wrangler door strap

One of our door straps broke and we have already ordered new straps for the doors. However, cannot find any information on the hing the strap is attached to. I am not talking about the hinge ON the door, but the "hinge" inside the door. In fact, it may be made of plastic? I have looked EVERYWHERE!!!! Any help? Thanks! Read More...

our 1995 jeep wrangler--4 cyl,stick quit suddenly while going down the road. There is no spark or fuel. We have replaced the pick-up in the dist. and the crank sensor--still nothing-any suggestions other than the ecm. Since all these parts I am throwing at this thing are electrical they are expensive and not returnable. thanks-Shirley Read More...

I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler. I had the same exact problem. I also replaced everything like you did. It was my computer, had it replaced about a year ago and no longer have the problem. The mechanic told me the way to check it, when you turn the ignition and the check engine light is not on, your computer is not sending the signals to start the jeep. Mine took twice as long ... I only saw the general rating, but the two door Jeep Wrangler was rated as better than average by CR. This compares to the Wrangler Unlimited which was rated as poor. My nephew bought a 2007 2-door Wrangler and he said it is the best Jeep he has owned. He had owned a 1995 YJ and a 1999 Cherokee. It's hard for the books to be accurate on a 15 yr old car.. too many variables. Personally, $5160 seems awfully high.. Post the details of your car here: Real-World Trade-In Values Someone may be able to give you a value for it.. Also, check out the market.... I have a 1990 Wrangler and I am having the same problem. Once I get into 4th I cant shift back into 3rd, it just grinds, but i can shift from 4th to 2nd fine. Someone told me that it could just be the cold weather.? Read More...

I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4.0L with a 5 speed transmission. I have a 2" shackle lift and 31" mud tires. As of last Friday my transmission has been messing up.
