I have a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT 4 cylinder stander w/325,000 miles truck loose power when the outside temperature reach 100 degrees, then it start to stalled. I have done a tune-up and replace fuelpump and fuel filter,Air filer and Air mass censer. the problem corrects itself in the morning when is cool then it runs normal. only when is hot outside is when truck stalled ... I have a 1995 Ford Ranger with 2.3L engine with a 5 speed manual trans. and it has a pinging problem mainly when going up hills when accelerating I have used premium gas since I got it about2 years ago I have changed the plugs & wires and oil I have tried fuel additives nothing seems to work. Well, the previous guy had a 1994, I think. Up until about 1995 or 96 the switches were the 'old' kind, just push switches on the front inside edge of the door. In later years, the switches moved inside the door, on the outside door handle pull mechanism. To completely get to these switches, the inside door panel must be pulled off. i had the same problem with an aerostar change fuel pump 3 times then found the average fuel pump was garbage had to go to napa paid a little more but for 5 years after till i sold it worked fine Read More...

I have just arrived via a tow truck yet again!! This thing has quit while shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. Just died outright. I let it sit and tried it again checked and reset the safety switch under the dash and tried it again.
