My sister and I were on vacation in Washington DC when our beautiful V70 required its scheduled maintenance. Being on vacation, we debated whether to trust a dealer other than our own with out beloved V70. We decided to try Fairfax rosenthal Volvo came in without an appointment expecting to be turned away and end up with nothing, but we were surprised. They got our V70 in and we even got a loaner car, a rarity among other Volvo dealers considering very few dealers even have loaners anymore. Our car was done quickly and we picked it up the next day. In addition, we walked around Fairfax Volvo's sun-filled showroom and admired models newer than ours, we came back from our vocation in compelete high spirits and ready to tackle the world.

Thanks volvomax. I saw references to people getting invoice in PA and NJ but nobody in the DC area seems to be getting closer than 1k over invoice, so I wanted to check. Sounds like you'd be expecting to get at least 1k over invoice as well? One other note, the car has 150 miles on it meaning it was demo'd a few times. I assume that doesn't affect the price until you get a lot more demo miles on it. Would you agree?
Do not buy a volvo c30

The car is way overpriced piece of dodo. The center console is awesome mine is wood and I wish I could take that with me to whatever car I get. There is so much wind noise at the drivers door I can not stand it. I planned to have this car for 10 years and am selling it after 2. I have tried to work with the dealership (Don Byer Volvo in DC area) to fix it and they have been unable fix to date. It also seems to fall out of alligment if you look at it wrong. It is a very noisy car. It sounds like my drivers window is cracked (lowered a bit) I have had the window checked the door adjusted and seals replced. All I can tell you is when you take a test drive make sure you go over 40 miles an hour for a extended period of time so you can hear for yourself just how bad it is. If you do get this car Ipod integration is a must.

I think you can get a better deal than that. I have the same color combo car that I bought last month with the following terms: After spending some time here and shopping, I just leased an XC70 so I thought I would put the details here for everyone. This does include the 1000.00 Volvo credit for existing Volvo owners: MSRP - 44,325 Agreed Upon Selling Price - 37212 Adjusted Cap Cost - 36518 Term - 24 mos Miles - 12K/yr Drive Offs - 990 Monthly Payment - 420+ tax Residual: 28058.31 My total down was only drive offs as well and was less than yours above. Also my payment is 420/mo and that is a 24 month lease! What I learned while there is that you need to choose the lease promo that they are doing with each car. I was told that for the XC or V the sweet spot is 2 year, and for the SUV it is 3 year.
