These vehicles aim at the market mainstream heralded by Honda's reputation for quality and reliability. Meanwhile the S2000 sports car inspires passion while the gas-electric hybrid Insight two-seater and hybrid versions of the Civic and Accord attract the green-minded and environmentally conscious. At Edmunds.com car buyers can search a comprehensive network of trusted Honda dealerships in their region, allowing them to pinpoint the lowest prices at the most convenient location.

Hi, I just ended up buying a 2010 Ody EX-L R&N today at Spreen for 30008 -> 36763.39 OTD. The Hardin people told me they sold that unit that night or the next day. I am not sure if they actually sold it, or sold it to someone at higher price, but would no longer accept that quote. The one they 'sold' was supposedly gray ext, gray int. Supposedly there is a blue one coming in, and 35249 was the price they quoted me on return (was there with my wife to look for a Touring). My wife was not amused to say the least (I thought I wrote down 33249, but she pointed it out that the second quote I wrote was 35249 on their card). Needless to say, I was banned to do further business with them. I emailed them, and they were quite wishy-washy about it. Actually suggested to me that we were talking about an 09 model (which they did not have one, and was trying to bait and switch us to come in to begin with). They sort of admit that their agent probably made an honest mistake in making that quote, but one of their manager was actually there to okay the offer, since the agent could not make that kind of offer. At any rate, you would not find that price there. You're right, for legal reasons, could not give you details of contact information otherwise. Autobrag is a good start, as it listed most reputable dealers who do business with them within 200 miles radius of your zip code. To save you some leg works, Colonial Honda quoted me an EX-L R&N @ 33508, but their internet manager is rude. He was anxious in getting my response, but then hung me out for 2 days with delay tactics (not in, not answering phone or email inquires). Finally when I got a hold of him, the unit was sold. I guess, the lesson is, once you got a good quote, they would want you to come in to haggle it out, whoever got there first. Spreen just have a Halloween special with 500 off written quote, so I got mine for 30008. Truth be told, I don't think it would be the lowest price (probably around 32k if there was Honda incentives @2500 again), but at 33K it was close enough (I figure I'd have to wait til next year for this to happen again). I didn't get the color the wife wants, but beggars could not be choosers. I email Weir Canyon Honda to see if they would match to save myself the drive. They responded too late (Spreen offers ran out today), but they were saying they could beat that price (for a Touring too). Since I already committed, I hope you find this lead useful. Spreen has an EX-L left, but more might come in. Check with them. No one else in OC would talk to you at that price. Best of luck. Thanx everyone for your input.

I have no idea about the deal, but I will say that on Thursday, the sales man that sold us our 2009 Accord Lx for 160 a month and 100 down for 36 months 36K, called and said that they submitted the lease paperwork to Honda and it was rejected because of something extra they added onto the MSRP of the car. So the salesman drove to our house, an hour away, to get us to resign papers. Now the lease is 158 a month, purchase price of the car is now 17064, down from 17800, and the residual is 12064. I have no idea what really happened, and I'm still confused? Any ideas?

Just for all the bashers out here(who are very weak in negotiating and are in total denial mode about the price I got) anything under $21000 for an EX- Automatic is a "Good Price"....anything above that should be stamped with "over paid" urrrrh... I think you need to take the location into account. All car price are dictated by local supply and demand. . Just because someone get a really good deal in Southern California where there are probably 10-14 dealerships within 25 miles radius mean very little for someone who live a small town with only one Honda dealer 50 miles away,
2010 CRV EX...just got ours..
by jwb18t on Sat Oct 31 19:34:38 PDT 2009
We bought a 2010 CRV EX today. Paid $25,144 + Tax and Title. Got the following dealer installed options included in the deal: All weather heavy duty mats, Cargo Liner, Fog Lights, Mud Guards, and Roof Rack. We had looked for quite a bit of time and included this forum as well as the pricing calculator to be well prepared for the purchase. Thanks for providing that help. It was down to the new Outback and the CRV. Both are very nice vehicles. I guess it came down to past Honda experience. We have a 1998 Honda CRV EX that we bought new in the summer of 1997. It has been a very good vehicle in all ways and plan to keep it a bit longer. We have also had a a Honda Odyssey and enjoyed that very much.
