42 month lease: by kyfdx on Sat Oct 31 06:11:29 PDT 2009; I wouldn't sweat being out of warranty for six months on a Honda... Could you incur an out of warranty repair? Sure you could... but, so could any Honda purchaser.. You don't see them fretting... Many, many people lease for 15K/mi. per year... Those same lessees that lease for 36 months are out of warranty for the last 7 months of their leases.. Being in warranty for the entire term is a nice thing... but, not that big a deal.. A bigger downside to leasing for a longer term, is that your personal situation and driving habits may change...and, if they do, you are locked into that lease for a longer time.. That has the possibility of being a bigger issue than being out of warranty. So, in agreement with other posters.... enjoy your car.. what's done is done, and chances are, it won't matter in then end. regards, kyfdx

It helped me to make an informed decision. Cost of car : 23,900 + TTL (Detroit Area, MI) Hope i got a good deal (End of month transcation) ... any comments/suggestions I agree with Fasttex, there is no point bragging or trying to beat dealer. Running around to save 200-300 $. We need them as much as they need us. they save us time and mental agony of finding the right car. They have expenses and family too. We understand Fasttex. Some (Many) brought this bad name by their own actions . I dreaded going into dealership and meeting sales guys. but in this dealership, ("Field of the South", if you know what i mean ;) I had a pleasant experience in this purchase transcation. Good friendly internet salesman & F&I guy. thank you guys, if you are reading this. I knew my final amount and went in with the right amount to pay. while i was there, another gentleman was purchasing 2010 Honda CRV LX, 4WD for Cost 21,850 + TTL ( In case any one wanted to know. )

2009 Civic LX sedan lease - is it good?: by njpcdriver on Mon Oct 26 08:04:33 PDT 2009; Hi all, We just got this quote by a dealer in northern New Jersey for a 2009 LX sedan with auto trans: $1000 down at lease signing, $243/mo. for 36 months (with 12k mi/yr) including all taxes and fees. We had started looking for an EX sedan but when the dealers came back with monthly payment amounts of $287 to $300, we decided to scale down to the LX sedan. Are these guys just trying to pull the ol' swindle? Seeing the other posts on this board, I don't think our offer is so good anymore. What do you guys think? Thanks!

My OTD price comes to $33,100 (includes tax, title, doc fee of $190, 6% state tax, etc). It only has 49 miles and I'm picking it up on Friday. Am excited and very happy with the deal. There's very few 09MY left in the Michigan area. If you're in the East side of Michigan and looking for one, I'll be glad to share dealership info, etc.
