Lease - Pilot EX-L 4WD w/DVD: by purgei on Tue Mar 06 11:15:35 PST 2007; Hi Car_man, I am coming out of a 3-year lease on my Odyssey at the end of April and am interested in leasing a 2007 Honda Pilot, EX-L, 4WD w/entertainment system. I do qualify for Honda Leasing's top tier leasing and would appreciate your opinion on approximate lease prices. I live in the Kansas City area (Kansas) and know that KS doesn't qualify for the regional lease deal. So far, I've received initial Internet quotes of $30,300 and $30,150 - both using the $2,000 Dealer Cash. How do those numbers sound and what should I do about the remaining month left on my $400/mo. Odyssey lease? Thanks.

2006 Accord EX-L 4cyl Price Paid in Kansas City: by twreckxs on Mon Jan 30 16:56:06 PST 2006; Just purchased 2006 Accord EX-L, 4cyl, auto for $22806, including destination, with trunk tray, mud flaps, and all season mats from Frank Ancona Honda in Olathe, KS via their internet service. Admin fee of $189 and taxes extra. Internet salesman was very nice, communicated professionally and respectful. They accepted a very good offer for my trade-in as well. In and out in 1 hour with no hassles. Overall a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend AVOIDING O'Neill Honda and Jay Wolfe Honda. Their sales staff and sales managers still resort to the kind of tactics that made this site so necessary in the first place. Some businesses will never learn. Thanks to everyone who preceded us with their experiences.

Visited several Kansas City dealers, couldn't get a solid idea of what they could do on price. Didn't want to sit in someone's office doing the back and forth... Telephoned Schofield Honda in Wichita -responsive folks, aggressive on price even though I had not committed to a purchase. Telephoned Topeka and Manhatten (KS) too - did not like their color choices. Telephoned Roper Honda in Joplin at 3:30 pm on Aug 27, and in just 15 minutes, I bought a new 2005 graphite EX V6 sedan for 23695. This includes the 550 destination fee and their 95 dealer doc fee. Also included 'mud' flaps and wheelwell protectors. Picked the car up on 8-30, total time at Roper was a little more than an hour - primarily to complete the financing through American Honda Finance, via Roper Honda. And yes, AHF is offering 2.9, 3.9 and 4.9 through Sept. 6. Bottom line - We love the car. Also, great folks at Roper, it was a pleasure to do business there and we will happily travel the 140 miles (one way) to do business with them again.

I am in Kansas city area and this is first time I am buying a new car. Prices in Kansas city are much higher compared to posts which I read here. Initially I got quote $24500 + TTL but after spoke to dealer in person they are ready to sell for $23400 + TTL. Is this a good price? Any experience in KC area? As I thought this price is still high. I asked the quote from dealer in Chicago area. I don't mind going there and driving back. One of the dealer has given me a quote of $22500 + TTL. I am ready to buy car for this price. Is it possible to buy car in IL and pay tax, register the car in state of KS. Just want to make sure this is a possible deal.
