Pilot 2010 Touring - no deals: by lsnhc on Mon Jun 22 14:09:23 PDT 2009; We really liked the 2010 Touring and were dismayed to find that the lease deals are absolutely atrocious (at least in CT). The best we could do was 635/mo. 42 months with $2000 up front (with alleged Costco . This is absolutely ludicrous. There are very few around and even by the dealer's admission, the leases on these are not competitive. I am what can be described as an "aggressive" car shopper and there was no place to go to get anywhere near what I would deem to be realistic. We opted (with no regrets) for a Mazda CX-9 GT w/nav and sunroof for more than $100 less per month (with a higher sticker!).

This has actually lead me to a neighboring state, NY where it's $55. Point being, tell them they can charge their $299 fee, and simply reduce the car's selling price by $250, for example. Allowing a dealer $50-60 to fill out papers and make copies is enough profit. I am pretty sure the CT doc fee is $175 or so charged by the state. Everything else is dealer gravy.

Looking for an LX in CT OTD ?: by JJami on Sat Jun 13 18:17:37 PDT 2009; I am looking to buy an LX.. the most basic one they have.. I am wondering if anyone got a good deal in CT for LX model.
