I'm assuming that it isn't NY state where you pay tax up front and that your $3000 down is contributing to a capital cost reduction. If that's in NY state, then you are getting an amazing deal. I'm sure someone can get a deal on a car that is in front of them, but to get a dealer to seriously lift a finger, on a car they don't have, I doubt a $500 over invoice will cut it.

If you're an American Express card member, Amex has a website that that let's you build your Audi or any car. Print out that price with dealership info, usually $300 to $500 over invoice and shop that price at another dealer.( Audi dealers are usually far apart, even here in the NY tri-state area.) Threaten to take your business to the dealer on your AMEX sheet. They'll ask???? Why did you not go there and get this price in the first place...Tell them some lie that their dealership was closer to your home or you've heard great things about their service department. They beat the other dealer's AMEX price by $100. (I would have been ok with just matching it) We got a Premium Plus, Meteor Grey with nice Michelins for $40,125 plus tax and tag fees. Only extra purchased was Audi Care @$750. We LOVE our Q5.

They only sell Quattros in the metro NY market. I have a 2009 P+ Nav. w 18" sports package. The 2010 options and packages I hear are different. It's a great car, just be careful so you have no buyers regrets and watch the dealer every step of the way. They add on packs at delivery. Tried nitro tire air on me for $79.00. Get the chrome exhaust tips thrown in. Try to get a tire upgrade. If I got a Premium I might but the OEM tires on Craigs list and get Michelins or something above the P6s in handling and traction. May be unimportant is southern CA.

I'm about to get 2010 3.6 prem plus non-TDI in NY area. I'm still not sure if I should get TDI model. Do all gas stations have diesel fuel available? is it cheaper than gas? your feedback would be appreciated Thanks.
