Re: Article Comments - 2008 Audi TT Roadster 3.2 S tronic Full Test [KarenS]

I too chose the 2.0 liter turbo over the 3.2 6-cyl engine because I knew the turbo car could be turned into a road-eating monster with just a few upgrades. Apr chip tuning to stage 2+, Neuspeed cold air intake, high-pressure fuel pump, 3-inch downpipe and twin exhausts did the trick on my turbo. I now take out Infiniti G35-37 coupes and haven't even added an intercooler ... Read More...

Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [dorkbrand]

Thanks for the reply, dorkbrand. You're about half an hour away from me. I actually went to CarMax today to get my car appraised, but their offer was lower than what I owe. Otherwise, I really would have loved to take over your lease. I can probably sell my car to a private party for a better price, but it may not be fast enough for you. If you'd like to continue this conversation ... Read More...

Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [dorkbrand]

Hi dorkbrand, I don't know the exact details of taking over a lease; just that it's definitely possible. There are costs associated for the actual transfer, and all the paperwork to transfer the lease is taken care of by the leasing company. If you visit the leasetrader website, they have an overview of how the process goes. Are you in Southern California, by any ... Read More...

Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [reality2]

Hi, So I just got the silver tt roadster last month. The price of the car was much higher than I had expected ($47,300 sticker). However after going back and forth with two dealers and I got one of the dealers to give me the car for $3,000 down, $505 a month includes tax, 12k a year. 36 months lease. I would say I got a really fantastic deal, but I'm sure you can get close ... Read More...

Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [dorkbrand]

Hi Dorkbrand, I am very curious about that lease deal. I am highly interested in leasing a TT Premium 2.0T exactly like the one you mention. In Ibis White as a matter of fact. My dealer has one but is quoting me $1900.00 down with $641.00 per month x 48 months at around $45,000. Seems high to me. Do you have any further info on that lease deal on TTs? Read More...

Re: 2008 Audi TT Leasing? Also white or silver?? [dorkbrand]

I have the white and love it. I have 2 small rock chips that show up as black. The silver would be easier to keep clean. You must get S-line package. The wheels are amazing. I can't comment on lease payment questions. I would push hard for at or slightly below invoice. The dealers are really hurting. BTW, I have 1K mles now and have been averaging about 14mpg. This thing ... Read More...
