What's not to love about a V10 Lamborghini engine breathed on by German engineers. The brake feel leaves a lot -- like brake feel -- to be desired. Great steering.
The S8 is silent inside -- too quiet to even get a good dose of the V10. Acres of room. Good ride.
Falls victim to the German luxury trap of ultra-high tech used to change radio stations. Easier to get used to than BMW's iDrive, though.
Massive grille, big tailpipes, and 20-inch wheels carry the performance pronouncements. Subtle differences vis a vis a regular A8.
