A direct fuel injected 350-hp 4.2-liter V8 delivers seamless power. Accurate steering and all-wheel drive provide all-waether control and stability.

Plush and cosseting without being floaty; excellent seating.

The A8 contains plenty of high-end features. MMI is easier to use than other single point HVAC, audio and NAV controls, such as BMW's iDrive, but its still somewhat distracting to use when underway.
